The Nature Park is the 66 acres of land that divides Wagon Wheel Park on the City's west side.
Take Sandy Lake Road west to Freeport Parkway, go south about a mile until you see the soccer and baseball fields. Turn in on the main boulevard and drive to the back west side of the parking lot. You will see a sidewalk that runs toward a sign that says Coppell Nature Park.
Follow the sidewalk into the woods, cross the bridge, and the trail heads start on either side of the walk. It is well marked with trail signs.
Near the parking lot, where you see the big redwood sign that says "Coppell Nature Park" on the hill west of the baseball field---this is the 3 acre spot for the new environmental education center and butterfly garden.
